I first stepped on to a yoga mat over twelve years ago and experienced a feeling of deep connection and well being. Since then, yoga has become an integral part of my life.
I trained as a yoga instructor as I wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others. I have studied different styles of yoga including Iyengar, Sivananda, Astanga and Dru before qualifying to teach Sunra yoga.
My classes are general hatha yoga classes that incorporate elements from each of these different styles. Energizing flow movements are combined with gentler restorative poses to achieve balance and restore the flow of energy within the body. The focus on breath work throughout the class will help to achieve a deeper connection with yourself on both a physical and emotional level.
I am also a thai yoga massage therapist, which is the perfect complement to yoga, incorporating all the benefits of yoga without the effort! A thai massage will consist of deep energy work, acupressure, applied yoga stretches and breathwork. It is a deeply therapeutic treatment that aims to rebalance the whole body's energy.
