"You should make yourself so happy that by looking at you, other people become happy"
Yogi Bhajan.
In an attempt to find balance amidst the frenetic pace of London life, I started to practice Yoga in 2004. Beginning with both the Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga styles, my studies have since seen me practice with Gingi Lee, Petri Raisanen & Kino McGrgor, Patrick Crealman, Ana Forrest and more recently Bridget Woods Kramer. I soon realised I needed to pursue my passion and share it with others and in a leap of faith I followed my heart and moved to South Africa where I could practice full time. I qualified as an International Yoga Alliance certified teacher in 2009.
Vinyasa yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, an open heart and a quiet mind.
Each class comprises a set sequence of continuous flowing postures including standing postures, balance poses, forward bends, twists, back bends and inversions. My goal is to guide students to a greater self-awareness and good health through the practice of yoga and meditation.
My classes have a strong focus on the breath and I enjoy working with a variety of themes, sequences and range of postures to help students deepen their practice and understanding. I teach with love understanding and a sense of fun!
" In the beginning you have to make room for yoga in your daily life, and give it the place it deserves. But after some time, yoga itself will pull you up by the hair and make you do it"

"Thank you so much for you knowledge and patience, your humor and mini-rose oil neck massages in Savasana. I am so happy that I was able to stumble into your class!"
