I first took up yoga to help keep me in shape, but the more I practiced, the better I felt physically, mentally and most importantly, spiritually. As I delved deeper into my practice, I wanted to learn more about yoga so I decided to take a break in my career and travel abroad. Whilst in India, I studied to become a Yoga teacher at an Ashram in Khajuraho.
My aim is to teach yoga to others to help them find better spiritual balance in their lives.
I teach a general Hatha yoga class with some elements of Vinyasa flow mixed in. My classes provide a safe but also challenging environment so each student can feel like they're working at a level that's right for them, regardless of age or fitness level.
In my classes I also like to focus on correct alignment and I take into consideration everyone's differences by making sure I pay close attention to each individual. This enables my students to progress steadily whilst reducing the risk of injury.
My students can benefit not only from my yoga experience but also from my extensive knowledge of holistic nutrition and complimentary therapies.
